Soppilla Cheesecake

Several of you guys have ask me for the recipe from the comment that I made last weekend when I was baking these and they were smelling SO GOOD! So here is the recipe...let me know if you enjoy them...but I am going to bet you do and will make them often esp to take to potlucks b/c they are so easy to make.

Sopapilla Cheese Cake
2 cans Pillsbury Cresant Rolls
2 lg pkgs of cream cheese
1 stick butter
1 t. vanilla
1 t. cinnamon
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup sugar

Spread one can of the cresant rolls into a 9 x 13 pan pushing to edges and pressing seams together.

Mix cream cheese, 1 cup sugar, 1 t. vanilla until well blended. Spread on top of the uncooked cresant rolls.

Spread second can of cresant rolls on top of cream cheese mixture, pushing to edges, and pressing seams together.

Melt one stick of butter and pour over the cresant rolls. Mix together 1/2 cup sugar and 1 t. cinnamon and sprinkle over butter.

Bake @ 350 until cresant rolls are not doughy. Let cool and cut into squares

Enjoy

  1. YAY! I was trying to remember how you said to make these a few days ago. I'm convinced that eating delicious desserts is best for Elliott right now.
